Lady's and Gentlemers, after a nasty combination of holiday burnout, various illnesses in a row, minor medical stuff, relaunching my dragon business, and starting our dice jewelry business I have finally finally had the time and will power to start pinning all those scales:

This is about 5 hours of pinning and re-pinning, I am running low on pins so it will be a few days before I can do more but I am so thrilled to be working on this thing again!!!!

I'm glad your life has settled down. The scales are looking good.

the fluke is sculpted and molded but not cast yet.

thanks Mermaid Jaffa, I am actually a highly impatient person in general but I try to keep myself busy to I don't realize how long a project is taking.

    thanks guys.

Over the last week I have discovered the problem with leveling up ones sculpting skills, the spikes I had sculpted and made molds of about a year and a half ago are in need or redoing because they just aren't good enough anymore.

the upside to leveling up is I think the new ones are looking much better already:

For a moment I thought you made chocolate spikes

Your tail is coming along nicely, can't wait to see were you are going to use the spikes.
Your imagination is your only limit

It is unfortunate that monster clay looks so much like chocolate.
The spikes will go down the back in place of a dorsal fin.
