it all depends on if you want a deep rich colour, a fleck just though the silicone etc. just add a small amount mix it in and see if you like the tint achieved, if its too light simply add more colour to get the desired tint your after. its really does fall down to trial and error. BUT always add small amounts first.
Can someone please get me back to the ocean before I suffocate... I need the water......
You can't use the liquid as far as I know! I use the powdered pigments.
Maybe someone else can chime in, but water and silicone DO NOT mix.

Powdered is all i use as well. As Pearlie said water and silicone dont mix at all. Test with a small amount of silicone and the liquid to see if it cures. A little bit of pure pigment goes a long way!
If you can't stand upon the water I will meet you on the ocean floor
Thanks so much for the input! <3
There are some silicone specific liquid pigments like silc pig and I think some people use paints, but I'm no expert on that. You should start small and add as you go to get the pigment to where you want it

I have used Acrylic paint in my silicone and it cures fine. but if you are going to use Acrylic paints a small amount goes along way. if you put too much in it will not cure BTW. done and tested.
