I went to HK Disneyland to celebrate my birthday.
Looks like they are using a Mahina merfin!
This is from the Night Parade, which is called "Paint the Night".

The SeaGlass Siren
It is at Disneyland (in Cali) also. I have seen it a few times.
If you search "Paint the night Ariel" you can see videos and more images of it.
It really is an all out experience, they use a lot of projections and really has put a lot of money/time into this parade.
I've been to HK disneyland! It's quite small compared to the other DL parks.
But the train to get there is the greatest!!
Yes the new parade is for the 60th. They have a whole bunch of new things planed for the 60th. I get the feeling they are going to milk it like the did for the 50th, and 'celebrate' it for about 18-24 months.
Well of COURSE :P it's DISNEY
The SeaGlass Siren
This looks incredible! I'm curious what 'The Little Mermaid' attractions will be put into the new Disneyland in Shanghai that's currently being built.
Wow that looks awesomely beautiful. I wonder if its hot though (given all those lights and what not)

I would suspect that under all the lights it would be warm, but I am sure Disney has figured out a way to keep their employee's from melting. And I think the parade is only about 25-30 mins long anyway.
If it's all LEDs, even with high intensity LEDs, they don't heat up hardly at all. And the EL wire, the long continuous lighting has negligible heat output as well. Ain't technology great?
