How to find other mermaids in my area?

Hello, How can I use this network to find other mermaids in my area? There seems to be easily accessed info on tails and all things related, which is great. But I would like to find some experienced mermaids near me for help, and possible social interaction. Thanks!

But not everyone registers their location on that. The best way I think would be to go to the pod section, find your pod there and make a thread asking if there are any mers near you

How do I find the pod section, I was looking for it, but have not figured it out, so started here. I am in the North Pacific Pod. The map on my coast is solid blue, hard to even tell where my bay is. Thank you!
