Mortimers rush fabric tail for the Coney Meet Up

Hey so i was going to post this stuff on my other tail making thread but decided to go ahead and post it in a new thread dedicated to this fabric tail instead.
So first of all this wont be a tail that i want to last forever or anything like that its just for this one meet up, but that doesn't mean that I wont be putting all my efforts to make it a great tail.

The tail will be made from recycled fabrics the tail body is an old licra spancex leggings my mom donated for this and the fluke and extra fins will me made with tshirt fabrics the fabrics i got are white so ill probably paint on it a pretty color scheme but not anything i have designed up to now i want this one to be a unique tail from the ones ill have.
This tail is not designed for water use as i will be using cotton fabric for the fluke its mostly for posing and stuff on the meet up even though ill probably take it for a swim because i haven't seen my home (the sea ) for 2 years now so i wont resist the urge to swim...

Ill probably go with greens and yellows or idk something different lol &
the monofin ill do like i did for my goodbye meet up in Perto Rico i made a monofin with a peice of plastic cardboard and tape and it held up pretty good i swam and everything lol i took pics and they came out great i would use that tail again but its still in Puerto Rico stored with most of my stuff waiting to be shipped some day.

So i finished un doing the seams the ran down the legs now im left with two seams to sow looking at it ill probably do like long side fins that run from my hips down, i was thinking of using one of the seams for a dorsal but that would leave me with a seam down the front which i dont like the sound of lol

So yeah the back will be more orangey yellow cause i always do dark to light from dorsal to center front. It'll either be a white belly or almost white yellowish belly but the point is that i goes dark pack light front. Do y'all like? Is definitely something different from my usual personal tail designs but i like it!

Thanks ! I am good at making things from recycled materials

Experimenting on shading and how the colors act on the fabric, so far so good.
