i would never fit in there way too tall. I'm almost 6 foot and then add another almost 3 feet with my tail. I'd be like a squished sardine.

YMCA BOYS SWIM TEAM OMG
Gem stone and I went to the Y for my first swim as a mer and the swim team showed up. We didn't leave, just used our half. Then we began racing them whilst they trained. We won. They were ashamed. Nuff said

flukes and fins are not allowed in sanctioned swim competitions. (neither are clamshell bras, or so they told me when I tried wearing one to a meet)
reminds me when i went during the winter and they closed of a part for life guard training. i was in the lane right net to it. i feel bad because i hung around underwater from a distance and was watching them and i think i might of distracted them abit

That awkward moment when you're smoothing out wrinkles in your tail and you wonder why people are looking at you weirdly. Then you realise that it looks ike you're rubbing your butt :P

That awkward moment when asking asking my wife what type of top would she like when I draw her as a mermaid and she replies with, "I want scales to spread up from my tail and cover my boobs. I would also like a top that provides a decent amount of coverage."
