    Question North Carolina Mers?

    Are there any mers in the North Carolina area? I may be moving there at the beginning of next year and it would be great to meet some of you

    A few of us have been gathering at the Greensboro Aquatic Center for weekly swims on weekdays. We're trying to coordinate one weekend a month for get-togethers as well!

    Anytime other than friday,saturday,or Sunday would not be do-able for me I don't want to rain on your parade,but I just have never seen another mer.

    Back from another wonderful swim with Jessica Mer at the Greensboro Aquatic Center! I continue to be amazed at the friendly and accepting nature of the staff, who apparently now talk about merfolk in their meetings. One lifeguard gave us a high five and "what's up fish people!" as he walked by. We had several other swimmers ask about our tails, monofins, and merfolk in general. Worn out... eyes are a tad red... feet are a bit red... (but hey, they match my tail!) Happy!
