Just wondering if some of you are planning on attending the Mermaid event on September 27th near Stuttgart in Germany?

Oh is that what it was... I got an email yesterday but it was all in German so I deleted it! I would love to go but I'm all the way in Australia!
It is mainly organized by a German model scout and magictail.de. Although it is held with magictails and there is also a little diving and underwater posing involved, from what I've read it seems to be more a bikini model contest. I have read the list of the judges and there are no underwater professionals involved (like apnea divers, uw photographers, uw models or pro mermaids) who could judge a little more "experienced" over the girls uw performances. But that seems not to be priority, more important seems to be figure, face, measurements and interview qualities. I will not attend because professional mers are not allowed... what a surprise ;-)But if someone goes there I would love to hear from it!!!

I'm still debating whether to go or not.
The meeting, that is, not the pageant, as I may not participate.
It'll depend on how busy I am with other things.
While I'd enjoy meeting other mers again, I can't shake the feeling this particular meeting will be a tad disappointing,
due to the things Seanymph already mentioned, and also considering the experiences I've had with that particular Club/host.

There's a pre-selection of the girls they have selected for the mermaid model contest, you can check if you're among them at the folder "Mermaids 2014": http://www.missmermaid.de/
But next to the model contest it is also a magictail meeting, I'm sure it will be fun to join even if you are not among the bikini girls ;-)
