Hey all,

Well I am so fustrated right now! I can't find a decent Nylon netting that I like at all to make my mermaid tops with I have one coming from spotlight which is great but am guessing it is cotton and I can't find anywhere else in Australia that will sell Nylon Netting for a decent price.

Then I look Overseas at America etc and they either don't ship it to Australia or they want exhorbant charges for shipping that I am not willing to pay! I am so fustrated right now as I wanted to look at selling mermaid tops in the future but I can't find anything that I could get wholesale that is half decent.

I want the netting like what Merbellas uses on her mermaid tops etc! With smaller holes not large holes!

Please help I am so fustrated by it all right now and have spent hours looking with no results! I don't even like the netting much that we have at BCF (boating camping fishing here in australia but it may be my last resort even though it is not what I want) Help please I just want some really nice looking netting even if it does need washing that is comfortable to wear!

Thanks

Try going to Bunnings and getting the netting that people throw over their trees to stop the birds getting at them. I've also addled my brain over trying find something but to no avail.

Also, try looking on eBay for that Luau party netting.

Thanks found this though the shipping for this amount is crazy expensive not so much for lesser amounts :) But thanks for the ideas

I bought string bags online. And they're cotton so if you don't like the colour options buy neutral coloured ones and dye them.

Thanks but I am looking for non cotton bags since they can rot quickly when exposed to water :) Thanks for the idea though.

if you're washing it regularly it'd be fine wouldn't it?

I honestly don't know elle I have just had a lot of people tell me how easily cotton rots so I figured it would be easier to find nylon netting

Maybe you could ask one of the American mers if they can help you out?

I don't know how bird aviary netting would be but you could look into that. I know some Aussies raise peacocks and other birds, so I am sure they have bird netting from somewhere. That is just a thought since aviary netting is built to last and built strong to keep the birds in.

Thanks all hoping what I found on Etsy will be okay just waiting for the person to message me back from what I know bird netting could be quite hard since my grandad uses that and fruit fly netting on his trees each summer am looking for something comfortable over uncomfortable but thanks for the ideas!
