I'm toying with the idea of making custom silicone tops *without* using a regular bra as a base. Since I only have my own chest to mold off of right now, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find bust/torso mannequins on the cheap that I could use for sculpting for other sizes. All I really need is boob-shaped mounds of cup sizes a,b,c,d etc, but so far the ones I've found are one size only (and no cup size given).

I've had a bit of luck looking on Ebay.

Find friends of various boob sizes and make your own for cheaper with duct tape and garbage bags! :) I made one of my whole body, I have the bottom half, (I did my stomach, butt, and each individual leg so I can use it later for costumes and such. I have my fabric tail that I am adding individual scales to on it currently. I used it on my feet too.
You may need help on some parts, but it shouldn't be too hard, when you do the chest and top area is when you will really need someone to help. Oh, and use the bathroom BEFORE making the butt and leg parts.

I would check craigslist.org for mannequins.

The problem with mannequins is that they usually have a sort of uni-boob for the bust, or they come in one size per manufacturer. Also, a B cup on a 32 band is a different size than a B cup on a 34 band, so having A, B, C and D mannequins is kind of meaningless.
