Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some hints or tips for my facebook page Mermaid Silverlilly please??

Keeping in mind that I can't yet post pics of myself with a tail as I still have to get the fin and the tail and I have been posting materials I slowly have trickling in and plan to share my top, Necklace, jewellery and hairpiece experiments on the page too as well as hopeful pics/images of me with a tail eventually too and MerQuest Australia images when the time comes and my sequin tail (which Mermaid Ilyena is making the tail base for me and I will be sewing on all the sequins) Plus hopefully eventually I will also be able to post updates on my silicone tail when I have the money saved to purchase my dream tail from MerNation!

I would really appreciate tips and ideas but also keeping in mind I want to keep this to my style not others but through my experiences bring joy to others! Basically just some feedback would be good and what else you may like to see on my page as well as what I have already been doing??

And if anyone wants to follow me I would greatly appreciate it but please keep in mind I am just starting out and hence I don't have tons of different mermaid things etc to post yet! Also please let me know if you want me to work out a back story for my mermaid as I go to post as I switch tails but I won't do it till then!

Anyway here is my Mermaid Silverlilly Facebook page!

https://www.facebook.com/mermaidsilverlilly

Thanks I would much appreciate the help!

Thanks

Just post about things that interest your mermaid persona. Relevant news, what you want to do when you get your tail, drawings, videos, adventures, etc. :)

Spin drift is right, I find when people... mermaids post about things that aren't related to mermaid it's a bit of a turn-off for me and has led to my unfollowing their page. It's all personal taste of course, and mine is simply try to keep it mermaid/sea themed. That's not to say you can't post about other things, but I feel like the ratio should be more mermaid content than anything else. People are free to disagree with me of course, like I said it's a personal taste thing but that's just my opinion.

I post a lot of mermaid stuff, and I also create fantasy themed signs and shoes and wands so I post that up as well, but most of it is about my merlife, and random things associated with that.

I totally agree with you :thumbs-up:
This is exactly what I'm doing with my page and it seems to work very well. So far, I got almost 2k of followers since I started.

I used to doubt about making one because I wasn't confident but now I like it.
