So some friends of mine in Dag are constantly asking me if I know any single and looking mermaids or mermen. I tell them honestly I don't know but I'll keep an ear open. For those who don't know Dag is my group that does foam fighting in Memorial Park Jax. We have garb(or costumes) and follow the old styles of fighting. They're pretty fun. A lot of them even want to try being mer people!

Sooooo this summer I want to set up regular swims for new mers to try their fins but also give people a chance to meet some one special. After all Ariel fell for a land walker, they can't be all that bad. ^.^

so this DAG thing is medieval cosplay? interesting... I've never heard of it, what does the abbreviation stand for? Is LARP something different?

Are they the ones that do it in riverside? If so I've seen them before! Last year my sister and I used to hangout there every Sunday, we talked to them once (there were only a few there that day for some reason) and they're all so nice! I remember I called one of them my long lost twin because he started singing a song to his friend that no lie I was singing to my sister 10 minutes earlier haha!

I'd love to do some meet ups though, I can always bring my extra monofin if any of them wanted to try it out!

Yea Seriena they're the ones in Riverside every Sunday I'm now an archer for them and they are all just amazed about the mermaid community so I'm inviting them to the meet in April :)

@Mermel there are a few single ladies there as well looking for a magical gal so you never know!

Oh sry Mermel to answer your questions Dag is short for Dagorhir, we are kinda like.larp except no.magic no story and full contact. We dress to honor the times of the weapons we're using (and it makes us look awesome) There are realms all over FL . Yu would be closer to our unit Howling Coast from Deltona and that area. You can find them on FB or look.for Ancient Warf which is my realm.

Larp literally stands for Live Action Role Play, we don't role play we just beat each other lol
