quick question- what glue does y'all mers use to attach seashells to netting? I am looking to make a swimable mer top :)

I've used both hot glue and E-6000 industrial adhesive

I will be using E6000 glue and handsewing after drilling holes in the shells! However I then have to cover those shells so probably just E6000 glue
