Hi!
I was watching some mermaid videos and came across an early ad for Mahina Merfins...
In this video, one of the blue fins has metal studs on it, and in the next shot (at 1:20) Mahina Mermaid is seen wearing her tail skin and snapping on her fin.
The question now is, what kind of press studs did she use?

Ok. I've emailed her. Hopefully, will get some kind of response other than secret squirrel business...
