I like making things with perler beads so last night I tried making a mermaid using beads I have a lot of or not able to reorder so cannot make official patterns and designs with. What ya'll think?27684

I love it! With the short, bright orange hair it reminds me of Misty's (pokemon) short stint as a mermaid performer. Make one for the next Secret Santa gift exchange thingy, I'm sure whoever received it wold love it too~

I think I'd like to play with it to make it a little bit more customizable. But so far this pattern has worked seeing has how I had to flub the tail design

Me too! I seem to use it as a form of meditation. Unwind and think. But still I love how engaging it is. Noticing patterns, playing with them, manipulating them, and the constant counting of beads in rows to make sure it's working.
