Running a Convention Panel - Ideas?

I'll be running a panel at Anime Con Arkansas about mermaiding. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? It's an hour long, and I couldn't get anyone to go due to the short notice. What are some things to talk about to people who've probably never heard of mermaiding before? I had an idea of doing some sort of mermaid trivia questions for bottle necklaces as prizes, but I'm not really sure what else to do.
