How cool! Now I want one, too ;) Looks like it would be very relaxing to sit under in the evenings after a hard day. I wonder if it creates a movement to the wave pattern or if it's stationary?
It could be a nifty thing for performers that might do meet-and-greets with kids indoors? I remember seeing photos of that girls empowerment event that AniaR and Mutiny did a few months back, and they had an area with projected oceanic images where the girls could come and hang out with them.

I actually have one! It stopped waving a little while ago, so all it does is a projected image of underwater that doesn't move, but I'll see if I can open it up and jiggle things around.

looks like because the top plastic is shaped so when the light comes through it will appear as waves. i say if you want moving waves then get a normal projector and hooo it up with a GIF. of waves
