[Kinos]

Hi there! I found my way here all the way from Finland. I'm Anette, older than I actually look, and kinda new to mermaiding! I always loved mermaids but I never got the chance to have a mermaid dress or a tail.
I'm currently studying in evening high school and dreaming of getting into art university after graduating.

I used to be a competitive swimmer until 3rd grade when I quit because I hated the competitive part in it. These days I do cosplay and play videogames a lot! I'm hoping to start working on a tail sooner or later, while training swimming much much more!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to swim slowly. I frequently block lanes by snorkling slowly. Ehem, whoopsie! ;)

I also did swim for a few years before dropping out when it became too competitive. Swimming 36 lanes as a warmup is not what I would call fun.

I agree about swim team getting too competitive. That's one of the reasons why I got into water polo. It's a team sport, but it's not solely focused on swimming. And you get to beat people up and drown them. I did it mainly because my favorite final fantasy game had a version of it as a minigame.
