Sorry if this isn't in the right place, but I have a serious question and I want options of the people who always give me the most understandment, and best advice.

I have anxiety, I don't like social situations where people rely on me. Which has led to me putting off getting an "actual" job.

I just bought a house, so obviously I will NEED a job to help pay for stuff and quit relying on family to help. Granted my situation arose kind of abruptly, so they don't mind, but are pushing for me to get to work.

If anyone knows of any jobs online, or things I could do, or any connections, advice, tips, tricks, etc. It would be much appreciated.

I can make things, like cosplay costumes, I have horses, and am good with animals, so I have been considering starting my own "custom horse tack" online business, but if that doesn't work out.....

And I'm a pretty decent photographer, but I'm really awkward at first when I start working with a subject

I could work at a small Rue21, but ours in our town has a build up of apps of girls wanting employee discounts. -_-

I don't have my tail "out of surgery" yet, (modding the poor thing) so mermaiding can't start yet.

I'm an introvert and I have anxiety too, While I hate social interactions I pushed myself through it when I had a "real" job. (I used to work at McDonalds) I didn't really talk to people more than I actually needed to (including my coworkers, but no one actually seemed to notice that I was really quiet. I was just that "sweet girl up front")

If you're too nervous working at a place like McDonalds, working places that have interest for you might help too. Like if you like to sew, try Joanns, or other craft stores. I find that even with my anxiety being in a place familiar to me with things I know about makes it a lot easier to talk to people.

If you're a good seamstress, you can do what I'm doing. I run a page where I make costume/cosplay commissions, and it's connected to my etsy shop where I sell lolita and jfashion clothing (soon to include lingerie too) I also make money from any art commissions I do.

I think I may have ran into your etsy before.
I think besides rue21, I could maybe do gamestop because it's familiar, and I would be working with a couple of good friends.
I've always wanted to run an etsy before, but I have to get a new sewing machine (supposed to happen this weekend) before I can do a test run on custom horse tack, plus I wouldn't be using real leather, I'd be using pleather as to not
1. Be expensive as heeeeeeeck
And
2. I don't have to live with the guilt knowing that I'm killing animals by making my product.
And pleather is so much easier to clean and repair.

I think everyone expects me to just come home and burst in the door like an excited disney princess and start singing about a magical godmother who found a job for me that has fantastic pay, fantastic hours, and for me to be happy 24/7.

If I ran my own, that could happen, but they are kind of wary of me running my own because of things like; what if sales go down? What if it takes longer to start up? What if it just falls through entirely?
Which is why I'm trying to find a happy medium.

If I could find an online job that was decent, everyone would be happy.

Are you good with kids? I am fairly introverted but I am comfortable around kids. My first job was a DJ at a rollerskating ring. I was hired not because I know music, but because kids love me.

My second job (which I am still doing after 10 years) is lifeguarding. Dealing with people is usually telling them to stop running or stop dunking or stop peeing. If someone comes over to talk to you you just tell them you need to focus on the water and please take your concerns or questions to the front desk.

I am a mega introvert who is good at pretending I'm not. For three and a half years I worked in a library, which was a pretty good gig for an introvert. My main duty was book shelving, so I just filled up my cart with books and rambled around putting them in the right place. Unfortunately I got hit on by a hobo and other old men, which was bloody annoying. It also took me a year of volunteering to actually get the job, so volunteering first might be involved.
Now I'm studying graphic design, which will be something I can do from home. So if you're in a position where you can go to school part time to study, it's not a bad field.
More immediately, maybe you can take commissions for cosplay things, a little at a time. Places like DeviantArt are good to show off your skills and find an audience.
FULL DISCLOSURE: These are just ideas, I have no experience offering any kind of good advice.

the inventory company I work for has some offices in your state, and the job is alright for introverts. but the money isn't ALL that great, and it tends to have a weird schedule/hours, so you probably wouldn't like it.

on a tangent from what Chatfish mentioned, I used to work as a lifeguard too. It was at a country club pool that wasn't nearly as busy as a public pool. Bunch of bratty rich kids, but it was fun to yell at them. haha. Of course now all those bratty rich kids have jobs making more money than I ever will. heh

good jobs for intros is everything you can do at home:
crafting stuff you sell online, being an author if you're good at writing, translating if you're into languages.

I've done all of the above because it gives me free time, as opposed to when I'm performing and have to stick to a schedule.

I'm wanting to do the crafting thing, selling things online. The fear of not knowing if people will like my items is the thing that has made me delay it this long.

You won't know until you get it out there, and then you have to promote your stuff like crazy if you want it to sell!

I'm a introvert who goes on social binges that gets peopled out for the rest of the week depending on how active I was. I dislike customer service where I have to deal with them face to face, in my last job that was my job being a receptionist and taking money and talking on the phone.

I've started looking at doing something with my hobbies. You've mentioned you have a few hobbies? What is it you're good at in them? Like cosplay. Are you good at the sewing the fabric part, or armour, props? No need to focus on the whole costume, bits of it could work too.

Ballot counting, warehouse worker, production line worker. Anything that doesn't involve talking to strangers or other people, are what I can think of!

I was actually looking into how to become a lighthouse operator :D

But there are only 2 or 3 left in the whole country. And nowhere near them is a pool I could swim in. Boo :(

I am used to farms, I grew up on one, but nobody around here needs help.
I do cosplay, and can make all of the costumes. Lol

I get social anxiety too. Fortunately performances can usually shake it away.

I'm working with writing, and studying, but the most common work I've done/do is security. Usually night shifts (as mentioned above). It's pretty good work and meager pay, but worth it, assuming you have a reputable company and decent locations. I've been posted at hotels (in the stretch of streets near Disneyland California) and school campuses.

I do Housekeeping which In my case I don't really interact with people but on the occasion i have to when i do mid stay services etc... but this isn't my dream job. i would prefer a job in retail or working for myself but where i am located you MUST take what is offered. if not you simply don't work.

note.. a production line worker, factor worker. etc is a PRISON. I know ive done this type of work. clothing factory..... NO talking. YOU must have certain tasks done by a certain time. you MUST work fast, you stop and return to work with a bell, You must ask to go to the toilet. On the positive side, the money was ok. but under the circumstances i can be a chatter box... but i can also be very shy at the same time. wasn't for me.

If you live in one of the cities where they are seeking applicants and you like fashion, try applying with my new employer, StitchFix.com. It's an online stylist job. You write notes to people but never talk to them! $15.00 an hour and they are hiring a lot of people right now!

Day trading. You'd have to really want to do it though, because it takes a lot of learning and time. Not an easy thing to start, but no bosses, no customers, and you can work anywhere you have a fast internet connection.

You could work in a stock room at a retail store. I work at Sears and there are women who work in the back just unloading stuff, making sure inventory is where it needs to be in the stock room or store, and putting ink tags on clothing and other items. They don't really need to interact with customers, only their other coworkers. I suggested a position like that to my boyfriend who is also an introvert who hates dealing with other people (because lets face it, in retail customers can be complete idiots.) But I'm so very proud of him because he ended up applying for a position out on the sales floor that's commission based, so he has to not only interact with other people, but step it up and be polite, willing to help, and make eye contact.

Hello! My dream is to work as a programmer. But unfortunately there is no work for me. Where can it be found. I would be grateful to any advice.

Hi! It's actually very cool that you decided to work in a profession. Not everyone does what you do. And the fact that it is really hard to find a job after university is a fact of life. As luck would have it, I have a job agency https://jobssite.ca/ that can help you find your dream job. I hope everything works out for you.

I do not like communication, and it is difficult for me to find a suitable profession that would give me the opportunity to feel comfortable alone with myself. I was helped with this https://resumeedge.com/samples/software-ngineer-lead-resume-sample (http://https://resumeedge.com/samples/software-ngineer-lead-resume-sample) , who wrote a suitable resume. I have recently been hired to care for animals and this is what I really wanted, I recommend this service!
