Are you guys doing anything for Earth Day in your cities? I'm working on some various fund raisers directly with organizations like silent auctions and such but I also made some tshirts and I would be so proud if I met my goal. I challenge each of you to be a part of the #mermaidcrusade and get a tshirt. I priced them low and made them sassy. Once you have yours let's hashtag the heck out of it and really start a mermaid movement in all of our cities!
I want to do a mermaid crusade event for Ocean Conservancy awareness in June as well. I want to make mermaid crusade a thing and maybe we can get more recognition and credibility with aquariums and the media. A lot of us aren't just cosplaying -- we want to make a difference.
If I meet my goal of 50 tshirts I will go sit in view of a busy intersection with my tail and a baby pool holding up a sign with our hashtag.
