This is my wee poopay Pablo <3 before we realised the problem with buying dogs in Thailand (tons of street dogs need rescuing after being dumped by their owners or dogs that have bred wildly) we got our wee Pabs from a night market stall... he was all lethargic and couldnt even stand up, all sad and alone in a tiny cage with no water...I couldnt leave him there and one night when I went to buy new bikinis I came home with my best friend !

Sorry to about your dogs, that must have been tougher than with my bunny. :)

I know it best for Snuf (my bunny's name), he had a fat lump on his neck and couldn't do anything anymore exept for laying, a little eating and sleeping. And for such an energetich bunny he was we decided that is was better for him to put him to sleep. Still miss him though. :sad eyes:

I miss having a pet, but when my boyfriend moves to his new study after next year, he promised me he would buy me another bunny, maybe two becasue that's better for the bunnies. :D

This is my best friend, Raja. She has been with me through everything, and I love her so much! She is a huge attention hog, cuddles with me every night, loves to talk, and has a bit of an issue with separation anxiety. (She tends to pee on stuff whenever I'm not around.)

Lately, she's been peeing only on my roommates' stuff, leading me to thinking she only hates men. She hasn't touched any of my stuff.

this is Charlie. We adopted him when he was a baby in october. He's a therapy cat to help me with anxiety issues I have at sleep time. (nightmares etc) since I've gotten him the issues have almost stopped. He's so great.

I have bad thanathophobia because of PTSD and several near death experiences. I get serious insomnia and anxiety at night time cuz my crazy brain is convinced I'm going to die. But when we got the cat all he wants to do at bedtime is cuddle my face. It distracts me, and calms me down. :) I researched the heck out of it we got him from a shelter known for their very well tempered animals.

This beautiful boy already has a home, he is a wandering cat and he visits my home plus a neighbour's home and alternates houses between visits, some days he might stay at one person's house all days and other days he might go between us both and some days we don't receive visits at all.

On the 23rd of October which I believe was the first day Marmalade's owners moved in he has this way of searching people whom he would like to hang out with, it was nice, I ended up being one of his hangouts ;) Me and Marmalade have a very close bond as you can see, I love him from the depths of my heart although I know I am not his owner.

He has helped me through many obstacles sometimes spending up to 10 hours outside on the lawn while I was upset, he is so good to me. He's been the best pet therapy ever <3

He's currently curled up inside my wardrobe and has been for the last few hours lol.

Blacky was the dog my dad picked up after hearing a lady complaining about how her dog peed everywhere, and she wanted to get rid of it. I think throw it over a bridge? I don't know, but he wouldn't stand for it so he brought her home. She was put down two years ago, I don't really have any pics saved on my computer of her but she was a fairly fat black lab/ridgeback mix.

Buddah we bought a few years ago, he's a purebred Shih Tzu, and not exactly the brightest dog in the world. No stupid, the grass is not the enemy it is not here to rise up and kill us in our sleep, you can shut up now. But whatever, he's a strange dog.. And the only one I could never get a decent picture of.. We had him shaved at this time.

We also got Zoey, she loved to terrorize Buddah, steal his dog bed, swat at him, whatever. My friends cat had a litter of kittens and we agreed to take one of her hands. I mostly chose her because when her siblings would be fighting she'd curl up against me and sleep. However, I take her to my place, she claws at me, sleeps on my bed, leaps into the front loading washer machine, and attacks my feet. This cat is crazy..

Then we got Rosie, she was a cat sitting in a box outside Walmart. Apparently she was too young to be away from her mom, so mom went inside and got the formula and stuff she'd need, and dad walked into the house with her behind his back and mom had all the stuff on the counter. I was confused cuz he's like "Give me a hug" he had her cupped in one palm behind his back, she was that tiny. I don't have pictures from then, but she was so cute. I also had videos, I'm going to see if we can scrounge anything from my last computers hard drive cuz I lost the flash drive that had everything saved. (I am an idiot I know)

Here's my black lab boxer mix, we adopted her and I swear her eyes were the reason I was like "Yes, dad, dad, let's get this one. This one is sweet looking. Come pet her!" and I basically had my mind set on getting this demon, and her name was originally Biscuit but we named her Anya instead. The first day she was shy and quiet, afterwards she was a bit more crazy.

We also have Anika, the most recent addition to our family, she was covered in fleas and worm infested when dad got her from this couple that kept walking around trying to get rid of her. He said if no one took her by 3 pm, he would take her and see what he could do. I think they abused her a bit, she's skiddish and has peeing issues around new people, but otherwise she's loudmouthed as hell and growls if she hears the dogs moving downstairs. Idiot pup..

I have also had turtles, and I had two finches but both died.
I now have three white skirt tetras, two barbs, not sure what type, and a bunch of guppies. I think all my expensive fish died.. it's a freshwater tank, but I had a Dalmatian molly, and two other fish I forget the names of atm..

I have two pets! Both are rescues from the Waco Humane Society where I used to work. :)

My dog is a rat terrier from a puppy mill police raid, named Judge. That was the worst workday ever. 7am to 1am and I had to he back at 7am. Bah. We got 78 of them in for the court case, and unfortunately only two made it out alive. Either due to health issues, or the fact that they couldnt re-adapt. We really tried to help them but they were very very aggressive after years of abuse and neglect. Judge was one of the lucky ones. I was the main employee doing a lot of work with him and when he got to where I was the only one he openly trusted the shelter gave him to me. He's now very very socialized, wonderfully well trained and fantastically friendly. I'm very proud of how far he'a come. We started at a point where he was so aggressive he couldn't be handled without bite gloves on, to loves to snuggle and is very gentle with children. My other pet is a 22 year old cat. I'm allergic to cats BUT since he doesn't clean himself he doesn't bother me too much (I'm allergic to the saliva). He was surrendered for being old at 15, I brought him home at 16 to give him a soft place to die since I figured he wouldn't be around much longer. When I first brought him home he was very antisocial. The shelter is a stressful place for a cat and he was there for a year AND he's old. Top the new home life off with my emotionally abusive, drunk ex husband....needless to say Kilo didn't start coming out of his shell until the ex left and I got his bad teeth pulled. He loves my new bf and now even cuddles and seeks us out. It's adorable.

Yes. For scale, the eggs are a bit bigger than chicken eggs. Pythons wrap themselves around the egg pile and incubate them. Eventually, they hatch.

36390 My rainbow lorikeet, Paulie. We rescued him from my high school because some crows were attacking him and he was stunned. We were told that if we took him into the vet, they would have to put him down because apparently, rainbow lorikeets are considered vermin here in Western Australia. He was timid when we first got him but now he loves attention. :) He likes to sit on your shoulder and 'preen' your hair. :) He also likes to nibble on your ear. He is a complete butt but he is a lovely bird :lol:

I heard that rainbow lorikeets were introduced to Western Australia from New South Wales :) It is ridiculous that the government thinks that a bird indigenous to Australia can be considered a pest! I have heard that rainbow lorikeets do compete with the purple crowned lorikeets ( which are native here) for food and nesting :) Paulie is a character and loves to be interacted with! :)

Maybe taming is the wrong word... just feeding them and watching. I wouldn't actually try to touch them. Plus I have a neighbor down the street who shoots squirrels that get in his garden so feeding them at my house helps keep them nearby and they don't have to go in his yard searching for food. A slightly tame squirrel is better than a dead squirrel. I especially worry about Mama and her babies.

Sadly I had to have Tango put to sleep last week. I think he'd had at least a couple of strokes and his back legs weren't working at all any more. That's the one bad thing about rats - you get really attached to them and they don't live very long. [emoji17]

I do have another two new babies, though.

Wow she's pretty! I had a male albino Burmese when I lived in the UK, but couldn't legally bring him with me. My wife has a rosy boa and a Kenyan sand boa, will try and get pictures up today and I'll hunt for pictures of my snakes from back in England.

More recent pictures of my Tennessee walker gelding, Stormy.
He used to be terrified of pigs. He would chase this little pig around trying to kill her, but after I traded my other gelding, and the new horse I got in the trade got hurt, he's been alone for a few months now, he had become inseparable from the little pig.

Thank you! I get a lot of comments on Stormy for his markings. He was my dads, and is 19 years old. But he's become a HUGE part of our lives.

Trazon, through him getting kicked by another horse, and everything, stood for me to doctor the wound with no pain medicine, even for stuff that I know stings when applied.
He got a hematoma and stood there for us to lance it and clean it, he's been such an amazing horse, and he's not even 7 years yet. I love him to pieces and he was very well behaved considering my husband hasn't rode in a while.
