Williams indoor pool in the webster area. XD I told them there were others and they said it was fine! I just have to call saturday and make sure they were able to keep their swimming spot on sunday at the pool. Apparently there's been something going on.

Correction, it's in friendswood. close enough though. The guy who runs the scuba shop said I shouldn't have to pay to get in, just show up and say that they asked me to swim and he'll keep an eye out for me.

I'm not a houston area mer...but my best friend is going to become one at the end of the month...I'm getting her a tail for her birthday. Not sure if she'll end up joining here or not...but that'll be +1...small convention up in Denton end of the month I'll be teaching her to swim with her tail during. Side note: getting measurements while being almost 1000miles away is a pain...lol

Wah! I'm sorry! I wasn't on at all yesterday, I was up late friday night and was busy yesterday with family stuff since it was my sister's birthday. They did still have the spot today but it was a bit hectic, one of the diving instructors hurt his leg and couldn't come. I think they do lessons every two weeks, and I need to get stuff for my eyes, that is a crazy-chlorinated pool. Ouch. This first time was also a test to see how it would go, and less people were there than normal. The scuba class is apparently always held in the deep end, so it's a lot of constant swimming.

Hey guys, another thread gave me an idea. What about Mammoth Lake for a meetup? Tons of cool underwater shots we can get, we can cookout in a big group, but I don't know how far of a trip it would be for everyone. Thoughts?

I wish, but Huntsville is such a long drive for me. It's a solid four/five hours away. I mean, I drove it for Kishi once when she broke her arm, but wow.

It's 2 1/2 hours away, without traffic, one way. (It was 4 to get to Kishi at gymnastics camp cause of that stupid road that was what, three miles long? But you couldn't go over five miles an hour down it cause it was THAT bumpy) but it still might be worth the drive if the water is super pretty. Anyone been swimming there before?
