I know I'm not the only one here making music and I want to hear everyone else's!

I'll start it off with a cover I recorded today, The Ship Song by Nick Cave. I've only been playing uke for two days, but I felt that this would work pretty well. I usually play guitar but I want to learn everything.

I can post recordings of my stuff, but my mic quality is pretty poor. So I'm always a bit worried that this would make it sound un-listenable (despite the fact I know from performing that I sound pretty decent... Otherwise no one would hire me, lol)

I don't consider myself a musician AT ALL, but have made some stuff in Reaper using loops I downloaded. I haven't made any of my own loops yet or recorded anything. My hubby has a ton on instruments and he has showed me some basic stuff on the Saz, very very beginner though. I am learning the ocarina! Because I am a nerd. I'm not very good yet but I'm hoping to be good enough that I can bring it to the Australian MerQuest next year. I adopted the instrument because I can't sing haha.

I write and perform music with my husband as a duo called Neptune's Keep. We're currently in the studio recording our second album. Here's one of my favorite music videos - a song I wrote called Sailboat of Dreams. The song is a lullaby, and we filmed the video in Hawaii. Watching it always takes me back there in my imagination!

I'm part of an all female drinking group with a singing problem called Nero's Fiddle. :) This video was filmed at the Grand Canadian Steampunk Exhibition. I'm the tall one in the blue gown. This video is safe for work as long as you don't think about the lyrics.

I've been playing the flute for 5 years, and have been singing my whole life- my mum is a singing coach (and I used to join in when she gave other people lessons :D tiny little 3 year old me singing *teehee*) I've won a few singing competitions in my town, and at the start of the year won $100 :) that went straight into my tail fund :mermaid kiss:

I'm a big musician, though I do it for fun, not a career. I've written a couple songs, though I don't have anything published. I play several instruments: piano, trumpet, guitar, organ, recorder, and saxophone. I can pick up my son's French horn and play that as well. Currently, I play piano at my church.

I also sing. Since college, I've performed with the Minnesota Orchestra and St. Paul Chamber Orchestra as part of the Symphonic Chorus. And I've continued to sing at my church as well. Many years ago, I spent three years as a musician at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival; my solo act was singing with my guitar or playing the recorder, and I also played trumpet for the Royal Court.

Music is just fun, and a great way to express yourself. If I had to college over, I would have added a music minor.
