Can I just say that I thoroughly adore you, every single scale? I'm so proud of you for going out and pursuing your dreams. I'm so sorry your tail didn't work out - it was so brilliant on you!

And maybe one day I'll have an octo-top, haha! They look so neat and textured! How long did it take for you to receive yours? What was the wait time like?

Well, I GRABBED it up the second it appeared on her Etsy (I was stalking her FB page!) and then it took about 3-4 months to get to me. So a bit of time, but she made it from scratch for me, so that makes sense. I love it, but it is very heavy, not in an uncomfortable way but in a "will add to my suitcase weight" kind of way. I want to take my Competitor monofin, the neoprin tail I'm making, all my SCUBA gear, and two wetsuits so I really need to keep the weight down so stupid American Airlines (the ONLY airline that flies from Dallas to Roatan) won't charge me the motherload for going over fifty pounds. In an attempt to escape to paradise I am pretty much selling everything that isn't nailed down. I've been to this island before and let's just say that all you need is a swimsuit, two pairs of shorts, two tshirts, flip flops, hiking shoes, a toothbrush, and your SCUBA gear. No one wears makeup or nice clothes and you can just wash yesterday's stuff in the sink and hang to dry. I WAY overpacked last time I went there! In fact, my octotop went with me that trip, but I never wore it. Too busy diving three times a day to play mermaid!
