Anyone Moved Their Parrots Internationally?

I have two parrots (neither is endangered ANYWHERE--my Quaker is considered a pest bird in many US states and my galah/rose breasted cockatoo is considered a HUGE pest in Australia, often shot by farmers in the streets--they are as common as pigeons in North America--but because they are parrots that lands them on CITES), and I want to take them with me when I move to Central America. Has anyone here traveled with parrots before? I so do not want to leave them behind, but I am not sure how to take them with me! It's super frustrating!

^ I agree! There, you will probably find people with more experience moving birds from not only one location to another, but also to a different country. You'll probably also want to look into how they are going to fly on the plane, too, and whether there are any restrictions through different airlines. Someone on the bird forum might also be able to tell you whether or not they'll have to be quarantined and for how long.

I am part of parrotforums.com (my preferred parrot forum), so I could definitely ask there. The birds don't have to be quarantined for Honduras and they can ride in the cabin with me as long as I get a carrier that fits under my seat... It's the paperwork for CITES that I'm not sure about. I am willing to leave my puppy dogs behind, but not my birdies! Though I may have to build them an aviary or something once I get there as their cages are HUGE and can't come with us. Luckily Quakers are from South America and Galahs are from Australia, so hot and humid seaside is their natural territory.
