incorporating glasses into a mermaid outfit!

As the title say, I'm one of those people who needs to wear glasses (contacts don't like me). I found some frames with a purple scale pattern to match my tail (as the pic shows!). I'm definitely going to get them! Wondering if anyone has mer-glasses they need to wear while mermaiding, or just uses glasses in general with their outfit. Depending on the situation, I may swim in them (no going under or anything). What do you think of a glasses-wearing mermaid? I figure since they have scales they shouldn't look too off.

I wore glasses into the pool too on my very first monofin swim. Lucky it was a very shallow pool because they slipped off one time and I had to blindly fish them out of the pool as I can't see without my "eyes". Now, I have two sets of prescription goggles, the cheap one is a spare and the good ones (I have Aquaviz snorkel goggle and the Aquaviz swimming goggle. The prescription lens is removable so I can switch them out whenever I like), are used more often.

i know this thread is a few months old,but i honestly have an opinion of glassed mermaids!they are awesome,matter of fact i am one somewhat professionally :) I dont have my glasses on in my profile pic because i didnt want to lose them in the bay,as i was going swimming afterwards.If you plan on doing it professionally you can do what i do.Tell children that because you are from the sea,which is of course salt water,that you cant see very well because mermaids arent adapted for that,and on land you can tell them that one of the things that happens on land is that some mermaids have poor eyesight :) i know this thread is 8 months old,but i feel like i can relate to this
