Intro from the Awkward Asian Mermaid

Hi y'all,

I posted another introduction thread in the Cali Pod because I couldn't find this forum last night..

Anywayyyyyys I'm MerMaisy, unless I can come up with a cooler name. I don't have a tail yet, but I'm thinking about getting the gold one from the2tails. I live in the Monterey Bay area. I'm currently between high school and college and unsure what to do with my life. I mostly spend my life figure skating up in San Jose and hanging out with my dog. So yeah thats about it I think.. I'm super excited about mermaiding

Welcome! I love ice skating too, though I suck at leaps, spins and all the other stuff. I just love actually being on the ice (and being in the water too!)

Haha you're probably not that bad. I haven't done leaps yet. I just started working on jumps. I'm so terrible at them. I think my best ice skating skill is falling with a flourish.

I liked ice skating until the local baseball stadium decided for the Christmas season they would get a fake ice rink. We had a youth group trip to go ice skating there but man skating on that plastic stuff is horrible!!! Never go onto a fake rink you will fall on your butt so many times and get plastic shavings all over yourself. :lol:

Hi, welcome! My friend has the gold 2 Tails tail and it is really pretty. The material is actually a gold stretch velvet/velour and it has a slightly mottled texture that gives it a lot of depth. It looks great underwater.

This tail is like soft. I really like it:) I had my little sis take pictures, so most of them are blurry. My dog is a little unsure of the monofin lol.

Welcome to the Merfamily! You sound really nice. I can totally relate to where you are at in life. I am in college and just changed my major. Don't worry if you haven't got it all figured out. I survived the awkward period between high school and college and you will too! Just do what you are passionate about. Unless your passionate about drugs, alcohol, or killing people then don't do those things. Almost everything else is ok. Anyways, what I am saying is go explore, be free, and try new things. You will make it through! :cheerleader:
