We're setting up our Intex pool, it's 22 ft round so it will give me some room to practice.. Hoping I can get a tail ,but will probably be next year with all my health care bills..but at least I can get into better shape..I might get a monofin ,so I can atleast work on my swim..
I have to be careful and take it slow, had hernia surgery 3 weeks ago...

Congrats, that's awesome! I hope your recovery goes well! Are you in physical therapy (or will you be)? You can talk to your PT about incorporating swimming and water exercises into your program!

Congrats on that! That sounds like fun. And best of luck on a quick recovery back to 100%!

I've missed having a pool, since we left Florida.. I hope I can incorporate some aqua therapy on my recovery.I go to the doc Tuesday for my follow up. Maybe I can do some light exercise and swimming then.. The incision is healed now so it will depend on the muscle and mesh holding..

That's awesome! How deep is it?

54 inches by 22 ft, it's not as big as I'd like but big enough to get some exercise and swim any way.. I'm not a strong swimmer right now but it will help a lot.. We're digging it out a bit in the middle to add an extra foot if possible..

The pool we had in Florida was 8 ft deep and was big.. but it was also in ground..
