I wasn't sure where to post this, but has anybody heard of Triangl? They are an Australian swimwear brand that sells neoprene bikinis. I've heard nothing but good reviews of them. Because of the material, these may be excellent for modding into mermaid tops. Although I'd worry about the black outline on most of them if I was painting. They are a little pricy though, at 86-97 AUD, but they are made of neoprene after all.

Ooo! Neoprene bra might be good for keeping the boobies warm in winter!

Well two pieces not gonna stay where they are. And those flimsy straps... When they have modest one piece swimsuits, I'll have another look.

Yes! If they had one pieces, I would have bought about 10 by now. I do like the Lulu bikini in Tathi Tango though...

I don't understand the logic behind a neoprene bikini. Neoprene is used cause it keeps you warm. But if it only covers a small amount of skin it wouldn't do any good.

I actually saw once a one piece swimsuit made of neoprene. It even closed on the front with a zipper. I was ready to buy it, but they only had the equivalent to US sizes XXS, XS and S. I am an M, so I had to pass because it was too small for me. I was furious, because it was awesome.

I found a pic; we need more swimsuits like this:

These go for 77+ USD and I'm sure a lot of women buy them. Being more than half naked and all, neoprene bikinis are a great solution to staying warm.

According to this Google Fashion Trend Report that someone linked on the Etsy forum, neoprene swimsuit’s are a “Rising Star” this spring:

Roxy, Hurley and Billabong makes those. They're called surf capsules. Bit on the pricey side though.
