Hello Everyone! This is my 100th post on Mernetwork, and I figured the best way to use it would be to reintroduce myself.

I first started on this forum in my sophmore year of HS, and now that I'm at the end of my senior year, I've realized how much more I want to be a part of this community.
I love this place. I talk about it constantly, and have only now realized that. I'd be in working with my friends at school and say things like "look at my friend Arion's new tail" or "look at the scales Pearlie just made!" And I realized that even though I've been on here for a few years and I've read many of these threads, I haven't really posted anything or actually contributed. And for that I am sorry.

And I feel guilty calling all of you my friends when we've barely spoken. But I want to change my social habits and I want to post more and get more involved with the community. And I feel that this is the perfect time to do that, because many things in my life are changing and I would like my relationship with all of you to change as well.

So hello again! My name is Julianne, I am 17 years old, and I live in Connecticut. I go to a performing arts high school and I spend most of my time singing arias in foreign languages or working in my school's costume shop. I own a Finis Foil monofin with a duct tape extension and I am planning on ordering neoprene as a graduation present to myself so that I can create my first tail.

I'd love to get to know all of you better, so feel free to talk to me anytime or ask me anything. I want to put myself out there and stop observing from the sidelines.

That's awesome that you're friends with an opera singer! At my high school, I take performance singing classes where my teacher would assign us with arias, German lieder, and English art songs. I've been singing for three years, so I'm by no means a professional, but its something I enjoy doing and hope to improve upon. Unfortunately, I don't have any videos of me singing. We usually only perform in class, and the only video I know of that has me singing is one my dad took during a concert. Its on facebook, but I don't know how to share it here or if it would even work. But I could record something in the next few days and post it on here if you're interested (it'd probably be acapella, but its better than nothing)
