So I'm moving back to the Atlanta area tomorrow! (Specifically Cartersville).

Who else is a GA Mermaid? Where are you located and what do you do? :D Are you a recreational mer or do you entertain as well?

If the weather cooperates, anyone want to go for a swim in the next few weeks? :)

A good way to get in touch with other mers in your area is to use the pod of the south Facebook group. Also, you can find people in your area using the member map on this site.

Oh, and I just thought of a great place for a meet up! Have you ever gone tubing down the Chattahoochee river (otherwise known as "shooting the hooch")? I did it once when I was in Atlanta. You should totally do that in tails!

I'm here in duluth :) Dont have an available tail at the moment so I cant go swimming, but It's still nice to see the other Georgians here :) Tubing in tails sounds like fun! But (speaking from experience) tubing in Dahlonega or Helen is the best ;)

Last time it is was just me and Mermaid Stormy and her Merwrangler. We surprisingly had a lot in common. It was nice to meet people that you can just be your completely weird yourself around. Everyone was invited I just didn't announce it early enough time and I made some newbie mistakes. Not any more! I am going to try and plan at least a month a head of time. Do you know when you'll be back? We could plan another Allatoona meet then hopefully before it gets too cold. But we could always switch to a pool.

Yup! I evacuated Savannah on Thursday and I'm safely back home with my parents up in Richmond, VA. We're all good here but I just hope the same can be said about Savannah and Tybee.

You and Mermaid Abbi are both pretty close. I was talking to Mermaid Stormy about meeting up at indoor pool. Preferably one that is heated. I was looking at the Cherokee Aquatic Center. Let me know if that would work for you. I would like to meet up before school starts back up for most people.

I would love too, although it is a bit of a drive, but depending on the day/time, could be a lot of fun! But definitely could go for meetups when it's warmer. We have a small pool in our gated community and I'm sure we could swim there on occasion -- and to the delight of the neighborhood kids!! :)

Oh I also have a pool in my neighborhood. It's small, but no one has to have a membership, anyone can come if you guys come with me. So maybe we could meet up in the summertime. I can't really pay for a membership to that pool at the moment 😅

Cobb Georgia. I don’t have a silicone tail but I have a professional tail with side fins. It’s a fin fun Atlantis tail. Atlanta Georgia is the city. I have never been to a mermaid meetup before. If any of you guys out there are from ages10-14 feel free to see if we can start a mermaid meetup.
