Fin accessories for arms

So, I really like the idea of adding fins to my forearms but couldn't think of how to do so effectively. Then I saw this dragon with the perfect wings at Michaels today!

They're curved, but a still malleable plastic so I might cut them (sorry dragon), hit them with a heat gun and flatten them.

My plan is to make a sleeve of somesort that'll camouflage nicely.

Those wings are cool, Caprica. Do you think you need to construct a whole sleeve? What about a couple skin-colored silicone bands strategically placed?

I'm playing with the idea of doing a sleeve with a pair of flesh toned nylons, and airbrushing some scales onto them, sort of a fade. And clear straps more than likely as well.

I love this idea! My merself (well hippocampus but whatever, right) has arm fins. I woouldn't do bracers because my legs have fur and not scales. Something like you're describing would be great!
