Yikes. Along the same lines, there is a company somewhere in the area that contacted my parents about letting them have their home phone number... the same number they have had all my life (and is the only one I consistently remember, because I learned it before cell phones were a thing). They turned him down, but I have to wonder how much they were willing to pay for it. Jokingly, I told my mom not to accept anything under a million - a ridiculous number, but hey, if they want it bad enough! :D

I used to have an Instagram account where people would do this. I had just over a thousand followers though... What would you do with so little followers? :confused: Eh its all just spam

Yup, there's a whole market for this kind of thing. People will make accounts of all types, gain tons of followers/subscribers/likes/ect, then sell the page or account. There are people who actually make a living off doing that! Kind of crazy hu?
