Aloha mersisters & merbrothers!

I've been asked by a land friend for recommendations on family friendly beaches to visit in Galveston. So I'm reaching out to my merfamily down that way for help.

Mahalo!!

I'm so sorry, I never saw this! If you still need recommendations, the main family beach in Galveston is Stewart Beach (East Beach). It has lifeguards & amenities, they rake the seaweed regularly, but you have to pay for parking.
If you're like my friends & me (*cough* cheap *cough*) head west on Seawall Blvd out towards Jamaica Beach & choose one of the pocket beaches instead. There are no amenities, but there's no fee either - you park on the beach & unload directly on your site without having to carry stuff from the parking lot. We usually pick 18 Mile Beach because there's a gas station with a restroom right across the street in case of um, emergencies...which, with 6 kids in tow, are fairly common.
