Hi all, I'm staring next month on my own latex and neoprene tail, can someone put up a screen shot detailing exactly how they put it together to transition to the mononfin over the heels. do you just make it flat and rely on stretch or is it pieced to confirm to the shape of the heel?

That's great that you are making your own tail!
There's many tutorials on how to make tails here on mernetwork, and many (like everyone) has to do a bit of try and fail. Search a bit and I think you will find what you're looking for.

none of the tutorials that I have looked at show this part of the construction. Sorry to bother you with my question, I just need a picture.

Yes I believe it mostly just relies on stretch. Thats how plain fabric tails are made at least. I cant say for sure about Latex as I've never ventured into that department.

I have a pure latex tail, and I pretty much relied on the stretch of the material. I sealed my monofin in, then glued the scale overlap in place over the top of the fluke. I pretty much did the front side same as the backside.
