How would I attach the vinyl to neoprin? I tried using E6000 and it stuck to the neoprin but the vinyl just peeled off. I can't use a machine to sew it on because its too thick and my sewing machines don't like it. Would roughing it up with sandpaper make it stick better?

I dont know of any glue that sticks to vinyl off the top of my head... Why are you trying to attach the two?

Hand stitching would be the only sure way if a sewing machine wouldn't work.

I'm using the vinyl for the fringe for my sequin tail.

Ah yeah. I don't think there's a glue that will work. I would go for sewing as well. I would actually machine sew it in a fairly long zig zag stitch, very slowly. But I've never done it it just seems like a good idea.

What gauge vinyl are you using? If it's too thick for a sewing machine to handle, try puncturing it along the edge with an awl or a stiletto & hand sew through the holes.

I used a thick needle to hand-sew my tail. It was made from the thick nylon backed vinyl.
