Hi all~
I'm Shira, from New York but I currently attend college in Pennsylvania right outside of Philly. I've been obsessed with mermaids my entire life ever since I can remember, always being out at sea on my dad's boat. Growing up (meaning when I was very young) I made a few makeshift 'costume' tails from long pillowcases, actually this is the first time I'm telling anyone I did that...my parents probably wondered where all of them went...
I've been an active diver for almost a year now, going down to the Caribbean every few months to dive, if you know any must see locations let me know!
I have bought my first monofin to train with and plan on purchasing my first tail, I'm working on craftsmanship but not quite there to design and put one together on my own.
It's so cool that there's a whole world of merfolk (I'm not the only crazy one :p) and I'm so excited to join!!
