Hey guys! I'm looking into getting my first ever monofin and since I have wider feet the fins I currently have access to are always a little (a lot?) tight on my feet. I have tried going a size up but find I have the same problem. Having thought about it I'd probably prefer to have the soft padding of a scuba/water sock vs cold hard fin if I were to try that route. I'm basically wondering if there are any brands that feature options that have wider foot pockets? I figure it's best to ask for help than try to go it alone.

Merfin is the only one I can think of where the foot pockets are wide. They are not stretchy like a Finis Foil, more solid and boxy.
If you can deal with the expense, go for a Finis Competitor! My feet are fairly small and my mother has really really wide feet, and it fits both of us comfortably :P

I dunno, the competitor is really tight on my feet. Also, your feet are pushed right together which adds to the feeling of too tight. I got finis rapid in my new tail and its much more comfortable and your feet are not scrunched up against each other. i have wide feet too and i even have room to wear sox if i want to.

I have wide feet too, and I found that the Hydra and my Leaderfins monofins have nice wide foot pockets. Both of these don't have your feet right together either, so it gives a bit more space. Good luck!

If you get a Lunocet, then you buy your own shoes that fit.
