Pearl Necklace/Pendant Kit!!!

I've been meaning to make a thread for this because it's really cool. I have one of these necklaces myself which I bought from the Melbourne Aquarium. I have never seen anything like this before! These are really beautiful pieces. Thanks for sharing them!! :D A lot of "kits" that we have in the States are geared toward younger girls and usually pretty cheap looking. As far as jewelry like this geared toward women goes, I can only think of something like charm bracelets or the Pandora bracelets - and they can get really expensive if you go with "namebrand" beads. O.O

This reminds me of something I saw years ago, where this man bought his girlfriend a giant bag of pearl oysters for her birthday, and after she opened them all, she had a few dozen pearls of all colors sitting in a jewelry box on her nightstand. An unusual gift, but totally appropriate if you're wooing a mermaid(though as a vegetarian mermaid I wouldn't be able to handle opening all those oysters, shudder).
