This is a pretty recent photo uploaded on June 28, 2015. Here is the link: http://crystalxoxo1973.deviantart.com/art/BBMS13bellamatte-logo-542722061

So far one deviant and me have asked the girl who made the tail. She is in the US.

I really love this tail and I wish there were more photos of it. I don't know exactly why I love it so much...Maybe it is because it isn't chunky looking like the Mako Mermaid tails yet it is an extended tail and hides the legs in a very convincing way. Who knows how well it swims though. It might just be for photos but I think it is interesting to say the least.

So what do you mers think? Have you seen this tail already?

I love the legs part, or body of the tail. Its so different, I looked and then had to look closer as I thought maybe the scales were smaller and more detailed. I think this is the first time I've seen a scale-less tail! But I didn't like the fluke as it looks like a rubber tail.

I agree Jaffa the fluke was the only thing I didn't exactly like but maybe I would feel differently if I could see a frontal image of the fluke.

Haha mermaidofthelabyrinth I am in love with it too I can't wait to find out more about it.

Edit: I found this thread that has some mermaid tail pictures similar to this one (especially post #8 and #37: http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?3541-Mermaid-tails-from-The-Movie-Hook-and-Power-Ranger

pretty cool looking but it does remind me of some of the old tails that were bought up from commercials and arent safe to swim in. Just a big silicone fluke with no fin, pockets, or anything. lol

That is too bad. So this tail probably cost more than a swimmable silicone tail yet you can't really swim in it? Sounds silly.

Wow... 0_0. That's one amazing tail. However I must agree with AniaR that it's likely not very safe to swim in. I could see a rig being set up inside like the H2O just add water tails though. Still it's the type of tail that makes you take a second look.

I'm thinking there is a fair amount of Photoshop involved as well...I mean, she IS a photographer.
