I'm new so I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm an aspiring costumer and fashion designer, currently living in Santa Cruz. I've been surfing the web for awhile now looking at mer stuff and I'm psyched to get involved! I've barely gotten started on my first tail but hopefully I can finish by september :D

I'm making a painted neoprene tail, hopefully it'll turn out something like this (http://firepixiefashion.blogspot.com/2013/07/how-i-made-my-neoprene-swimming-mermaid.html). Although I'm going for some different design choices (added fins, different color and caudal fins, etc).

As for what I do, right now I'm just a student (in theater right now, but I'm hoping to start my own business or go into film), so I haven't really picked a specialty yet. But I love fantasy and historical stuff, especially medieval, renaissance and victorian.
