Fellow mermaids. A lot of people ask me how to run educational workshops, and at the level I do them it's a lot of work. If I were to write up curriculum with instructions and material lists, age levels, outcomes and goals... would that be something fish would be interested in buying for a reasonable price? It's the kind of stuff that is too detailed and specific for my book because you could do a whole book just on environmental education....

It's something you could use for parties, to help you get more educational events (a lot of events like that want to specifically see what you'd do and why it's important), tourism events, and more.

I know a lot of people just don't know where to start. They care about the environment and want to teach others and kids but maybe don't have a teaching background or struggle to make things age appropriate for each group.

Let me know what you think because I am mapping out what I think could be an awesome PDF!

Not sure if I would actually pay for it myself as I'm currently not persuing being a professional mer tbh, but I do think it's a good idea that I support you going forward with. I'm sure it would be very helpful to others :)

I'm not a reader when it comes to learning new things. I prefer watching a video or have someone show me. Maybe a dvd with an additional book with brief notes on how to make it more than what it is explained in the dvd.

Ugh... I don't know how to write it better. I hope you get the gist of what I mean.

If it were priced within our budget, I think it would be an excellent buy for our pod!

I am thinking of using the patreon method where users commit to a monthly subscription fee ( that they can stop at anytime) and get different level of rewards per level of subscription. So pay 15$ a month and get a lesson plan per month. Pay 25$ and get a lesson plan, video etc. Pay 50$ and get all that plus participate in a monthly q n a. That sort of idea.

On my end a video is far more work and time consuming and as far as lesson planning goes you'd need a written text anyway to physically follow.

Yes yes yes! Having something like that would make pitching to schools and museums so much simpler.
