Hello my dear Merpeople,

I'm in the works of making my very first fabric Mermaid tail. I've already bought the fabric, but as the seller already told me, the fabric is slightly see-through.

Not a problem since I already wanted to use Neoprene as a base for the tail, but now here's my question:

I wanted to use white neoprene, but that is also slightly see-through. But I fear that if I use black neoprene, if will affect the color of my other fabric (which is sparkly green).

Does anybody have any experience with a situation like this and can you give me some tips?

Thank you in advance! ;)

The black neoprene will definitely darken and muddy the color of your fabric. I assume that the white neoprene uses black rubber and that's what makes it see through, yes? In that case, the white will still be a better option than the black, because even if it is see though, it won't muddy the colors as much :)

Ok, thank you! :D Then I'll use the white neoprene!
