Need help with my new tails monofin

I just got my new new in the mail. I took it out for a swim and some issues came up. The tail I have is a basic silicone from the mertailor. The Monofin he used is a finis, it has the quick release option which is a little hook type style. The hook keeps coming undone and it causes my feet to come out of the Monofin and then the whole tail practically falls off. I tighten the straps as much as I can manage to but it still comes off. Any tips? This is my first silicone tail and my first day swimming in it so sorry if this is dumb. Also any other tips in general? I'm scared to pinch and pull it up for fear of hurting the tail, my nails are as short as possible though, how do I get wrinkles out best I can? Best cleaning method? Besides tights how do I keep the tail from falling off and dragging? He didn't leave me any drain holes in the tail, when I get out of the water I have gallons that fall out when I stick my tail up. And last, what is the best way to dry my tail? Would hanging hurt it? Sorry for the flood of questions! TIA!

The quick release, add a piece of wire twisted at both ends. It should have weep holes. Email him if nobody tells you some thing easy.

I'm not exactly sure how to take a picture of the inside of a tail, i can't get it to fold enough for it to have enough light for the picture..

I'll try the wire, thanks! It feels like there was supposed to be holes but they don't go the whole way through

I use regular socks in my Finis Wave, and that helps with keeping it on.
