bought cheap latex cuffs online, (the type you get at a halloween store) they were very "skull warrior" style in a dark silvery and black. I repainted with copper and turqoise for a more gentle/under the sea look. I'm pleased. before and after3279932800

Nice! Are you going to seal it with something? The acrylic might come off in the water.

just a clear coat, I've had good luck in the past that way. I actually have some Perma-Wet that I'm using on a latex tail i'm making for someone else, that I'll try on these.
(those unfamiliar with perma-wet, it's a glossy clear coat that is latex based and works well over latex materials or paints. It is sometimes badmouthed because certain disgraced tail makers would use it on silicone tails and it peels off... because it's LATEX and not compatible with silicone)
I was going to try to make some bracers from scratch myself, but these were cheap and easy.
