I finally feel I can call myself a mermaid...

I wound up caving and buying a MagicTail, Arielle. I was nervous about swimming in it. I'm a slow swimmer, though I can swim forever, and I'm not exactly the most graceful creature in the world. However, I was surprised at how quickly I adjusted to swimming in it. I absolutely love it! My first swim was at a friend's with just herself, her boy-toy, my fiance, and I. My second swim was at a gender reveal a friend of mine hosted. There were a few children and they were all thrilled to see a mermaid in the pool.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my enthusiasm. Now I need to practice things like opening my eyes underwater and holding my breath longer.

If it's a chlorine pool I wouldn't practice opening my eyes too much, better to just wear goggles and save your eyes.
