Hello all,
Further to my last post seeking advice about publicity for my new story with a mermaid in it, I thought I'd let you know that it will be available as a free download from Amazon from 6-8 Jan 2012.
Everyone has been really helpful and positive about this story. I got a lovely mention about it from Hannah Mermaid on her facebook page, and you merpeople have been most supportive!
"Turn The Tides Gently" by Matt Wingett is based on the island city of Portsmouth in the UK, and tells the story of a troubled young man who thinks he sees something most unusual in the water. Can it be what he thought it was? Or is he going mad? What this sighting means for him, the change it brings to his life and the upheaval it causes to those around him is told with a dreamy, almost hallucinatory evocativeness.
HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS: "Turn The Tides Gently" will be available for FREE DOWNLOAD between 6-8 Jan 2012 from Amazon. Please spread the word!
If you use the Kindle Select library thingy, then I will get a royalty - otherwise, it's yours for free between those dates.
All I ask in return is that you spread the word about it, and let others know how much you enjoyed it.
The link for the book is here: http://amzn.to/YouCanTurnTheTide
Thanks so much for your support and interest!
