So, I never drink coffee, but I have a job interview today and I didn't sleep well last night so I thought I could use a pick me up. I got Dunkin Donuts and was just sitting on the couch reading through the mernetwork posts and out of the corner of my eye I see what looks like a child standing by my stairs and since both kids are at school I nearly have a friggin heart attack. It turns out, it's my daughters mermaid towel thrown over the end of the stairs banister. I still feel like my heart wants to climb out of my mouth. Geez. No more coffee. LOL

As soon as I read this, it reminded me of this scene from Trainspotting...

I drink way too much coffee. I take my thermos with me to school and when I get home around 6, I make another cup. I have problems.

I'm one of those people that NEEDS coffee in the morning, but if I drink it in the evening, I'm up all night.

you probably got too light of a roast. Next time skip the dunkin, go to an actual coffee shop and get the darkest roast you can. There is less caffeine in a darker roast than a light roast, the longer the coffee is roasted the more caffeine is burned off

I used to drink the equivalent of around 20 cups of coffee a day. When I stopped drinking coffee I went through withdrawals for a couple days (headaches ect....)

I now only drink coffee when I am over at a friends house

Meh!

When I was at uni, I'd make myself a thick coffee sludge with 6 teaspoons of coffee and 4 sugars, into those small disposable foam cups. And chug it down whilst I did painting or drawing... I was at art school then.

I can't drink coffee or any type of energy drink. Even if I only drink it in the morning, I cannot sleep at night and makes my heart beat irregular, so it's not fun at all.

:: shudders :: im extremely caffeine sensitive, just a sip from a regular can of soda makes me hyper, anything more than that and I'm literally vibrating and it feels like my heart will explode. I'll stick to water.

I miss coffee! My husband is allergic, so I can't have it in the house or when we're out together. I rarely get to indulge these days. :/ There's no coffee shop in my village, either.

My husband is deathly allergic to cinnamon, and my sister-in-law who lives with us is allergic to cloves. :( no apple cider or Apple pie for me...

If I don't have caffeine in the morning, I get awful headaches. But I don't subsist solely on it in the mornings. Caffeine doesn't affect me, energy wise. I can have a cup right before bed and go right to sleep. Same with red bull. BUT, I have found that I get more housework done if I drink a red bull.
Also, I like my coffee strong. Like it could grab your eyebrows and shake your face strong, with lots of sugar and cream.

LOL Pearlie.

20 cups? Pretty sure that would kill me.

Turns out my blood sugar was high the entire day from it. I am hypoglycemic, soooo no more Dunkin Donuts for me. *pouty face*

I feel you, I can't even take midol or exedrin cause the amount of caffeine in it makes me jittery, anxious, heart beating hard.. yikes! It's probably for the best I can't have any caffeine anymore (stupid illness related stuffs), even though I'm narcoleptic and caffeine would be amaaazing :P But my body can no longer handle it whatsoever. Sadness.
