Product Recommendations/Warnings

I'm looking to invest in some quality pool tools, underwater obstacle course, and other things The MerFriends can take with them to events. These would be mostly for the kid events, but I'm also looking for recommendations for adult events, too.

So, what products do you use and recommend- and what have you tried and hated?

I've been looking at the weighted hula hoops, but almost all of them have bad reviews. We're going to try weighting regular hula hoops with seashells and colored stones (looks pretty, we'll see if it works in water) and I'll let you guys know.

Feel free to recommend/warn ANY type of product including decorations, games, toys, etc. (There are other threads for tails, tops, makeup, etc, so I'm really looking for appearance products.)

This may seem pretty obvious, but let me instill this in your mind

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T USE STARFISH FOR UNDERWATER STUFF. PLEASE. If starfish are used for decoration, don't. they will smell gross and nasty for a long time afterward. I learned the hard way

You can seal your starfish in resin, but yeah, generally we advise not to use them at all. There are a bunch of Etsy shops which sell casts of starfish that look just as realistic!
