yeah, so, i've been seeing to much going on in this community and i feel like distancing myself from the FAKEness and the shenanigans that a lot of mers bring to the table!

I had to watch this twice... still a little confused. I got the whole tail wait time thing and completely agree but then totally lost it... insulting finfolk clients with Loreena flukes... something about our real lives being... boring? And that we're full of shit... basically?

Also, I'm really sorry about the whole shirt drama. I didn't realize that the post was set to public, thought it was friends only. I tagged the artist so you and/or your designer could look at the page and see where the art came from so you could know it wasn't just a stock graphic- cause there are a loooot of stock images of mermaid silhouettes that people license for logos all the time. (I swear one graphic I know at least 10 mermaids have in their logo, kinda nuts.) If it was friends only they wouldn't have seen it, but I didn't realize. Anyways I basically died from embarrassment when people came charging in, and got all upset saying to cease and desist like you were some criminal. Been too embarrassed to say anything till now. :$

Also, news to me that Najestic makes tails for the public! Didn't realize that, I thought they only did it for the company (the way Finfolk started out). Looks like the website, pricing, and ordering info isn't up yet. But when it is will be happy to add them to the tailmakers list :)

Yuuup. I thought I was being helpful because a lot of the Black Mermaid art gets passed around as graphics with no credit to the artist. Happens all the time, especially around holidays because of their cute mermaid holiday art. A lot of people I see using the images like it's stock, when it's not on any stock sites to license or anything. It's just gotten used and passed around so much a lot of people don't even know where it came from. So I thought maybe the designer just didn't realize that it wasn't stock but copyrighted artwork. Instead of being helpful I just created a mess with fans of the artist and the artist getting upset at the art being used on the shirt. Which Eric did say that they weren't selling yet earlier in the comments, but I guess those folks just saw the shirt and freaked.

When I saw their comments, and realized the post was set on public and what I'd caused.. this was me:

Did you really take that as an insult, he said "yall gonna like what you like" it just coincides with what he was saying about wait times, and waiting years to look like everyone else. And he continuously said some of yall are full of shit and he knows shit about some of yall, coming to the conclusion that SOME of yall "ain't shit." If he said everyone then I could see where you might get mad but due to the language, I think you just found something to be insulting that wasn't; when that is just his personality.

And he continuously said some of yall are full of shit and he knows shit about some of yall, coming to the conclusion that SOME of yall "ain't shit." If he said everyone then I could see where you might get mad but due to the language, I think you just found something to be insulting that wasn't; when that is just his personality.

lol its ok love! i already knew what your intentions where and i knew it was to be informal! i did speak to some of my friends and they now understand lol! it was just a big hoopla and i took it down after the guy kept messaging me to take it down and writing long novals to me about how ill be in trouble and blah blah blah! we working on the new shirts now actually and the new designs are pretty SICK!!!!!

Oh no! I actually didn't take offence at all haha. Re-reading my post I can see how I may have come across that way but I swear it was more just bewildered amusement (because I always miss out on the fb drama I'm generally confused when it gets referenced here).
